The impact of Covid-19 on the industry has been severe, surpassing that of other sectors. Over the past few years, we have witnessed a sharp rise in lack of staff and redundancies among our staff, many of whom have become close friends.
Unfortunately, some establishments have already succumbed to the crisis, and more challenges are expected in the future. In these unprecedented times of change, we don't claim to have all the answers, as it is a collective struggle for everyone.
However, what we do know is the importance of maintaining faith, especially during moments when optimism wanes. Since the government implemented the lockdown measures on March 15, 2020, we have witnessed the industry's remarkable ability to innovate, adapt, and reflect.
Many establishments have found creative ways to serve key workers, communities have united, some have transformed into retail outlets, offering exclusive hospitality industry products, and others have provided pick-up and take-away services.

Our advice is simple: prepare yourself for the comeback by showcasing your skills and experience in your CV.
